Tuberosity

1. The quality or condition of being tuberous.
2. A projection or protuberance, especially one at the end of a bone for the attachment of a muscle or tendon.
3. The state of being tuberous.
4. A swelling or prominence; especially, in anatomy and zoology, a large rough projection or protuberance of bone; a bony tuber, generally serving for the attachment of a muscle: as, the tuberosity of the ischium, or tuber ischii; the greater and lesser tuberosities of the humerus.
