1. Of or relating to a gland whose output consists of disintegrated secretory cells along with the secretory product itself.
2. Of or relating to a mode of secretion, in exocrine glands, where the secretion is produced in the cytoplasm of the cell and released by the rupture of the plasma membrane, destroying the cell and resulting in the secretion of the product into the lumen.
