Coagulation

1. The act of changing from a fluid to a thickened curd-like state, well exemplified by the clotting of blood; the state of being coagulated.
2. The change from a fluid to a solid state, as in crystallization.
3. A mass or quantity of coagulated matter; a curd; a clot.
